Transfer Theme Weeks

Selective College Week

Selective College Week, held every fall and spring semester, features workshops and information sessions to help students prepare to apply to selective admissions colleges and universities. Admissions representatives from selective and Ivy League institutions provide information sessions reviewing the admissions process and provide tips to help students prepare a strong application. Workshops hosted by BHCC Transfer staff help students explore selective college options and encourage participating in the Commonwealth Honors program, honors societies, and other extracurricular, academic and community engagement activities that will enhance their competitiveness at selective admissions institutions.

Selective College Week Fall 2026

Transfer Week is your opportunity to explore what comes next after BHCC and get the information you need to transfer with confidence. During the week of the Transfer Fair, Transfer Services will host a series of workshops designed to support your transfer journey, including sessions on starting the transfer process, exploring colleges and universities, paying for four-year colleges, writing strong transfer essays, and preparing for the Transfer Fair. Whether you're just beginning to think about transferring or are ready to apply, these events will help you connect with resources, learn from transfer experts, and make informed decisions about your future. Be sure to register for the events happening throughout the week and take the next step toward your transfer goals!
