Admissions Requirements
High School Requirement
- Submit Proof of High School Diploma, GED, and or HISET
- A copy of a high school diploma or an official GED/HiSet certificate may be submitted in person with a photo ID or may be sent via email directly from a school official.
- International high school diplomas and transcripts outside of the US may need an official translation and evaluation.
Mandatory Health Careers Information Session
Applicants must attend a Health Careers Information session. The information session is valid for 1 year from the application deadline. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your attendance will not be counted, and you will have to attend another in-person session.

Required Prerequisites Courses (All grades must be a C or higher)
- ENG-090 Writing Skills I
*Completion of ELL 101 or ELL 102 satisfies ENG-090
*Schedule an Accuplacer English and Math placement test. Place higher than ENG-090 (Writing Skills I) or complete courses with a grade of C or higher.
*Take Math GSP. Semester 2, you will need to have score higher than MAT 093 to register for Central Processing course II
College
We will accept unofficial college transcripts for application review. However, if you are admitted, you are required to submit official transcripts. Failure to provide official documentation will result in withdrawal from the program. View our transcript policy on the bottom of the Admissions homepage.
CORI/SORI Background Check
If accepted into the program, as a prerequisite for a clinical placement or internship this program requires that all students must undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check and a Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) check.
