A Night of Recognition: BHCC Celebrates Student-Athletes and Athletic Excellence

The 2026 Bunker Hill Community College Athletics Night of Celebration brought together student-athletes, coaches, staff, and supporters for an evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements, dedication, and perseverance across all seven BHCC athletics programs.

The event honored both team and individual accomplishments throughout the year, including NJCAA Academic Honor Roll recognition, Region XXI All-League selections, MVP and Coaches Awards, NJCAA All-American honors, and Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards. See a full list of awards below. Beyond the accolades, the evening celebrated the determination, resilience, and hard work our student-athletes demonstrate both on and off the field.
The celebration also provided an opportunity to recognize and thank the coaches, athletics staff, and college leadership whose continued support plays a vital role in the success of BHCC Athletics.
A memorable highlight of the evening was keynote speaker, former New England Patriot, Matthew Slater, whose inspiring message resonated with everyone in attendance. Reflecting on the lessons learned through athletics, he spoke about embracing challenges, finding growth in discomfort, and continuing to perform at a high level—values that strongly reflect the experiences of BHCC student-athletes.
The evening served as a fitting conclusion to another successful year of BHCC Athletics and a celebration of the strong community, culture, and shared commitment that continue to move our programs forward.
