Inaugural BHCC Chelsea Entrepreneurship Summit Brings Chelsea’s Business Community Together

Bunker Hill Community College’s Enterprise Center for Entrepreneurship & Training (ECET) hosted the Chelsea Entrepreneurship Summit on August 26 to showcase ECET's programs and highlight new partnerships that support local business growth.
The summit featured a keynote address from Jennifer Hassell, Executive Director of the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, followed by a dynamic Leadership Conversation with Noel Roycroft of Harvard Law School’s Transactional Law Clinics, Carlos Galvez of La Colaborativa, Aaron Thomas of M&T Bank, Joan Cromwell of the Chelsea Black Community, and Monica Orozco of Koffee Glow and an ECET alumna.
A key highlight was the announcement of ECET’s upcoming partnership with Harvard Law School’s Transactional Law Clinics, which will provide legal education and resources to businesses, with eligible businesses considered for case-by-case legal assistance at no cost.“
ECET is growing as a trusted resource for entrepreneurs and organizations across Chelsea, Everett, and the surrounding communities,” said Kristen McKenna, Dean of Workforce and Economic Development at Bunker Hill Community College. “We want local businesses to know that they have a place where they are supported, recognized, and connected to the resources they need to grow and succeed.”
ECET provides practical training, professional development, and personalized business support, including entrepreneurship education, business coaching, marketing and digital skills, leadership development, financial planning, and one-on-one advising in English and Spanish.
The evening concluded with networking and new connections, creating a sense of excitement and opportunity for business leaders and reinforcing ECET’s commitment to supporting innovators, strengthening businesses, and building communities.
