Healey-Driscoll Administration Announces Financial Aid Expansion for Students in Massachusetts Public Colleges and Universities

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll announced MASSGrant Plus Expansion, a new financial aid program for students attending Massachusetts’ public colleges, including Bunker Hill Community College.

MASSGrant Plus Expansion increases available funds to current beneficiaries of the MASSGrant Plus program and offers financial aid to students who currently do not qualify for MASSGrant Plus. 

The program will be retroactive to the start of the fall 2023 semester for currently enrolled students. Students who have already completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2023-2024 academic year will not need to take any further action to benefit from the additional financial aid dollars. Funds for the current semester will be credited to their accounts. Students who may qualify but have not filled out the FAFSA should do so immediately.
