BHCC President Pam Eddinger Moderates Discussion on WGBH “Asian Americans” Screening Event

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) President Pam Eddinger moderated a virtual panel discussion on May 4 as part of WORLD and WGBH’s Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration. Attended by more than 1,000 viewers, the discussion spotlighted selections from the groundbreaking PBS film series Asian Americans, chronicling the contributions and challenges of Asian Americans.
Premiering May 11 and 12 on WGBH and PBS, Asian Americans looks at ways in which the Asian experience illuminates the larger American story and explores the role Asian Americans have played in the evolution of the American identity, in the context of migration, diversity and global connectedness.
Panelists included S. Leo Chiang, producer of Asian Americans; Renee Tajima-Peña, series producer of Asian Americans; and Winifred C. Chin, Co-author, Paper Son, One Man's Story.
