BHCC VMA Faculty Member’s Film Released on HBO

Professor Gustavo Rosa, assistant professor of the Visual Media Arts (VMA) Department wrote and directed a short film named, “Carro” that will be released on HBO this weekend. “Carro” is the story of an undocumented Brazilian immigrant living in the Boston area who decides to buy a car in an effort to better his life before returning home.

The film was screened in various film festivals including SXSW, San Diego Latino Film Festival, Aspen Film Shortsfest and more.
