Provost James Canniff Named ACAO Digital Fellow

Dr. James F. Canniff, Provost and Vice President of Bunker Hill Community College, is among 32 provosts and chief academic officers (CAOs) selected to participate in the Association of Chief Academic Officers (ACAO) Digital Fellows Program. The ACAO Digital Fellows Program, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is a year-long opportunity designed to provide provosts and CAOs with critical information, effective resources and tested strategies to help them and their faculty understand and adopt high quality digital courseware.

The ACAO Digital Fellowship Program will support CAOs in leveraging digital curricular materials to foster student engagement and increase retention and persistence to graduate among undergraduate students—particularly first generation, low income or students of color. Individual campus projects that focus on digital learning will also be supported by the Gates Foundation grant.‌
