BHCC Named “Best Community College” by Boston Spanish weekly El Planeta

El Planeta, the largest circulating weekly Spanish language newspaper in Massachusetts, has named Bunker Hill Community College “Best Community College” in its annual “Best Of” survey. BHCC received the highest possible ranking: five stars.
The recognition published in El Planeta, which has a circulation of 50,000, praised BHCC for its diversity and for helping students for whom English is a second language. The award also stated: “Their professors have vast experience working with students from all over the world, and they are aware of and can cater to their needs.”
El Planeta, founded in May 2004, is a member of the Phoenix Media Communications Group, the largest family-owned media company in the region.
