All orders must be placed online as the Bookstore on campus is not open. Books and materials you order will be shipped to you at the address you provide.
Due to the expected higher than normal volume of shipping during the holidays with UPS and FedEx we suggest you order your books as early as possible to avoid any delays. Anything ordered and shipped after December 18 may not arrive for the start of your class.

Yes, you can audit a Winter Session course. Students who want to audit a course must obtain written permission from the Student Central Office. Students who audit courses pay full tuition and fees. The audit request must be made at the time of registration, and once approved may not be changed to a graded course. An audit course may not be transferred or used toward graduation requirements.

To request permission to take more than one Winter session course, please send an email to wintersession@bhcc.edu. In your email please include the following information:

No, all Winter Session courses are offered fully online.

Students who are seeking tutoring support for their winter session courses are encouraged to contact their faculty instructors to learn what academic support resources are available for their individual courses.

Winter Session courses are entirely online and require a substantial time commitment from students. You can expect to spend approximately 45 hours on coursework for every course credit. A three-credit course would require about 135 hours over a 20-day session. You should feel confident in your ability to navigate an online course management platform, use digital tools and software (e.g. uploading files and using Microsoft Word) and be available to work on your class for at least 6-7 hours per day before signing up for a winter course.
No, Winter session courses are web-based with no scheduled face-to-fact or virtual meetings. Course materials are fully online and students complete coursework according to a syllabus provided by the instructor. If there is an assignment due on the day the College is closed, your instructor should provide instructions.

Successful completion of a Winter Session course will be calculated into your GPA at the end of the Spring Semester. You must enroll in 12 hours in addition to the Winter Session to be eligible to participate in Athletics for NJCAA teams.
You will need a library barcode which can be found on your 'BHCC ID card'. Students can also get a library barcode without an ID card or having to come to campus; after your term has begun you can fill out the online form request form and a library login will be emailed to you.
