FREE Customer Service & Career Readiness Class (CON-100E-N04)
Upon completion of your FREE English course, you will enroll in the FREE Customer Service and Career Readiness Course.
Classes will be held at Bunker Hill Community College in Chelsea Campus, 70 Everett Avenue, Chelsea, MA 02150
This class is designed to work on essential skills that are required in today's job market. Participants will gain valuable insights into effective communication, problem-solving, and strategies to better prepare you to meet the demands of employers. This program also builds your confidence in professional interactions.
This course will cover the following topics:
- Establish and Cultivate a Professional Presence
- Verbal and non-verbal communication in a company’s culture
- Recognition of strengths and weaknesses and how they impact performance
- Learn the standards for actions and attitudes at work
- Learn to apply effective strategies targeting skills and practices

Creating a personal brand, and its application in workplace dynamics
Spring 2025 Course Dates/Times
Somerville ESOL Evenings
- Monday and Wednesday in person/Chelsea campus evenings from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
- 2.5 hours remote student work each week

- Saturdays in person/Chelsea campus afternoons from 1 - 3 p.m.
- 2.15 hours remote student work each week

Dates: April 5, 26 & May 3rd-No class 4/19/25 due to Easter Weekend
Level 3 and Level 4 Somerville students are eligible to receive a stipend for attending and successfully completing the course.
