The Fifth Annual Museum of African American History (MAAH) Summer Institute, held August 16-18, 2017, brought together Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) faculty for an in-depth introduction to Boston’s MAAH and its historic sites, presentations by renowned scholars of African American History and pedagogical workshops designed to help educators translate this rich historical content into curriculum units, lesson plans and classroom use for their students.
