Library's Mission
The Bunker Hill Community College Library & Learning Commons equips BHCC students for a knowledge-driven, global society by supporting research and scholarly communication through collaborative opportunities with faculty, staff, and student leaders at BHCC and beyond. The library advances discovery, innovation, and learning for citizens of Massachusetts and for a rapidly expanding community of global scholars by providing information literacy instruction adapted to multiple learning styles, access to print and digital resources, strong user service, and a nurturing environment.
Library's Vision
The Bunker Hill Community College Library & Learning Commons’ vision is to foster creativity, curiosity, exploration, and inquiry and to prepare students to contribute to advancements in innovation, economic and social justice, and civic engagement while promoting intercultural understanding and inclusion across the institution. The library shares the college’s understanding that our space is a trusted space for students from diverse communities and experiences to learn together, and to demonstrate kindness, respect, and accountability.
