Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is an open access, multi-campus, urban institution and the largest community college in Massachusetts, enrolling more than 16,000 students annually. Established in 1973 and commemorating 50 years of excellence, BHCC spans two campuses in Charlestown and Chelsea, complemented by instructional centers across Greater Boston. Our diverse learning options include day, afternoon, evening, weekend, hybrid, and online courses.
BHCC is part of the Massachusetts public higher education system, which includes 15 community colleges. The College offers more than 100 certificate and degree programs that prepare students to enter four-year institutions or to enter the workforce prepared for better and more highly skilled jobs. Sixty-seven percent of students are people of color and more than 50 percent are women.
