Located at Bunker Hill Community College’s Chelsea Campus, the Department of Emergency Medical Studies prepares students for an exciting and rewarding career in pre-hospital emergency medical care.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
The EMT course at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC), EMT-Basic, is a 180-hour, seven-credit course. It is designed for those seeking a career in Emergency Medical Services and will prepare you to function in the field as a competent basic care provider.
Paramedic Studies Certificate or Associate Degree
Paramedic Studies Certificate Program
The 46-credit Certificate Program provides students with all of the coursework necessary to be prepared to take the national licensing exam.
Paramedic Studies Associate Degree Program
Students who complete the 61-credit Paramedic Associate Program will complete the same 46 credits from the certificate program, as well as additional General Education credits.
