Bunker Hill Community College Joins Massachusetts Community Colleges in Continuing Remote, Online, and Hybrid Learning
Thursday, October 22, 2020
Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) President Pam Eddinger joined the Commonwealth’s 14 other community college presidents in announcing that Spring 2021 courses will continue to be offered in primarily remote, online, and hybrid learning formats, with limited in-person courses.
Monitoring public health conditions, ensuring safety for our campus community, and maintaining high-quality academic instruction are top priorities during this pandemic. BHCC, along with all other Massachusetts Community Colleges, will continue to provide students with the services and support they need to succeed while tracking local public health conditions. The college presidents are hopeful that making this decision early will give students, faculty, and staff, who are already balancing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic recession, the necessary time to prepare for the spring semester, and looks forward to serving all who rely on Massachusetts Community Colleges for an affordable, safe, and flexible higher education experience.
