For four decades Bunker Hill Community College students have volunteered their time to help members of the College community and surrounding neighborhoods with their state and federal tax returns free of charge through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA).

Securing that first job is one of the biggest challenges faced by soon-to-be graduates. Professional Threads, a campus event produced by the career services team each semester, helps take the guesswork and stress out of assembling a professional look. Held on March 28 in D-Lounge, just in time for the Spring Job and Internship Fair, the event supplied students with coaching on personal presentation, networking and all the other elements that contribute to professional success.
