Resources
All students registered for credit or non-credit courses are provided with a wide array of technology resources that will support and enhance their academic experience. Upon applying and registering for courses, each student will be issued a BHCC account that provides access to these resources.
SelfService: Portal for degree/credit bearing students to access:
- Course registration, course catalog, class schedule, grades, unofficial transcript, degree progress and other academic information
- Financial information and payments, health insurance waivers and other administrative information and tasks
- Add emergency contact, change and confirm address and phone contact information
Access Selfservice at https://selfservice.bhcc.edu using just your BHCC username (BHCC email address without the @bhcc.edu) and BHCC password.
Office365 and Email: Provides your BHCC email account and Office365 applications for Students.
Please note that ALL BHCC correspondence is required to go through your BHCC email account, thus please check this account frequently for access.
Each student may freely use all Office365 features as long as account is active. Features include:
- Access to two dozen applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Forms
- 1TB of OneDrive storage
- Download and install up to 5 copies of Office365 on PC or MAC
- Forward email to personal account
- Add to mobile device – we recommend Outlook for IOS or Android.
BHCC computer labs are open any time when the college is open. There are also 70 open use computer located in the library.
BHCC Wifi
Access BHCC wifi from your personal devices. Access by using your BHCC username and password.
Be aware that downloading or sharing copyrighted material is expressly prohibited. The Digital Millennium Copyright ACT may require BHCC to share information about person sharing copyrighted material. Stay safe and legal.
Moodle is BHCC platform for all online classes. Many faculty will also incorporate Moodle into their face-to-face classes. Refer to your class syllabus for your individual class Moodle information.

Digication is a portfolio platform is available to all students to create and present digital collections and work. This is an ideal place to professionally showcase your skills and achievements.

Webex
Webex videoconferencing is available for all students to setup their own meetings. It is a great tool to invite and setup online study groups. Users can also record meetings for future reference.
Rave Emergency Alerts
Rave is the College’s emergency alert system providing text, voice and email messages. All students are automatically enrolled to email alerts using their BHCC email address. However, BHCC strongly encourage students to also register their cell and personal email address account to receive alerts. Only emergency alerts will be sent through this system. Account Policy
Password
In order to ensure your security, BHCC will be enforcing a strict password policy. This will be sent by email and also be shown when changing password in OneLogin
Account Access
Students will have access to BHCC accounts once registered for courses. The account will be terminated two semesters after last registration. Example, if last registered course was taken in Spring 2022, account will be terminated at the end of Spring 2023. Once an account is terminated, all data may be irretrievable.
