For Students

It’s never too early to start thinking about an internship. These valuable work experiences are a great opportunity for you to explore career paths and gain relevant, real-world work experience while also earning academic credit.

At BHCC, we welcome students from diverse backgrounds. While some students join us directly after high school, the average age of our students is 26 years old. Whether you’re just starting your career or have extensive work and life experience and are looking to steer your career in a new direction, completing an internship is a tremendous step in your professional development. BHCC students bring a wealth of experience to the table, contributing cultural strengths, diverse perspectives, and a solid academic foundation to their internship sites.

The Office of Internships and Career Development is dedicated to guiding students through the internship search, application, and interview process, and providing support throughout their internship journey.
